Welcome to your Sandbox!

Below are the tools teachers and administrators use on a daily basis. Click on the link to learn how to create each one. You can also review the Help Menus by clicking on the "?" in the top right corner when you are logged into ParentSquare in the browser.
What you CAN do in the sandbox.

Additional Tools
These tools must be set up at the district or administrative level and are not enabled by default in the sandbox environment. You can click the links below to view short help videos for each feature.

Access To The Smart Sites Sandbox!

If you’re also exploring SmartSites, you’ll have access to its sandbox environment as an editor with the ability to add pages and content of all types.

  • Step 1: Navigate to Add-ons – At the top of your ParentSquare homepage, click on Add-ons.
  • Step 2: Find SmartSites – In the left-side menu of the Add-ons tab, select SmartSites.
  • Step 3: Automatic Login – Clicking this will log you into the corresponding SmartSites sandbox as an editor

Using the SmartSites Sandbox


  • You’ll have full access to customize your site, including the homepage. This means you can update header logos, add new sections, create subpages, and modify existing content.
  • Before you explore your sandbox site, click “View Website” in the top right corner after logging in.
  • Additional tips and details for managing your sandbox can be found on the Sandbox Resources page.
